Matthew Wyatt

BAS, MArch (prof), Registered Architect ANZIA
Matthew joined RTA Studio in 2016, and has since completed a wide range of Residential, Educational, Heritage and Commercial projects. During this time, he has held key roles in several award-winning projects most notably Objectspace Art Gallery, and Freeman’s Bay School.
He has operated as Project Architect for various University of Auckland, Ministry of Education, Airport and private house projects, utilising his experience with client management, brief application, program control and design integrity to achieve user focused outcomes.
Matthew has a strong passion for sports architecture, having spent over 12 years competing internationally as an elite level Track and Field athlete/coach, exposing him to some of the best sporting facilities around the globe.
Matthew plays an active role in driving the social culture of the practice motivated by staff wellness, mentorship, and connection.
