Our brief from the school was to create a Business Hub that would inspire learning, reflect and value the strengths of the school community, and would facilitate engagement with NZ business leaders. The aim was to provide a suitable venue to host events that would start to open up industries and business opportunities to students that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. This was achieved within the MoE framework of delivering Quality Learning Environments (7 Teaching Space QLEs) & a full sized library.

Careful master planning and site selection enabled the project to also deliver a new north facing student plaza near the heart of the school, unlocking valuable outdoor amenity in an otherwise tightly congested campus.
