Catherine Doo

Catherine joined RTA Studio in 2017, having previously worked in the UK and other practices in Auckland. She has gained many years of experience in the aviation sector, having been involved with several airport developments in the Pacific Islands, and various projects at London’s Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.

More recently Catherine has played a key role as project architect at RTA on a number of projects in the commercial, educational and hospitality sectors, including Airways’ new air traffic control facility at Auckland Airport and Balmoral School’s major redevelopment. She has extensive experience throughout all phases of project development from early design stages through to construction, and has built strong relationships with her clients and project consultant team.

Catherine is also actively involved in running the practice’s Women’s Group and Diversity Group as well as mentoring staff.
